In a recent show in Zurich on his current world tour, Justin Timberlake sang a cover version of Gnarls Barkley’s hit single “Crazy”.

However, the Sexy Back singer is reported to have changed the words around a little to make them: “I think she’s crazy….I think she’s crazy.” And….”I remember when, I remember when she lost her mind” during the performance.

Entertaintmentwise also reported that Timberlake launched into a version of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Rehab’ changing the lyrics from “They tried to make me go to rehab and I said no no no” to “They tried to make her go to rehab and she said no no no

This has prompted some gossip columnists to accuse Timberlake of taking a cheap pop at his ex-girlfriend. Or could it simply be that Justin is still Crazy for Britney?

So famous had she become that Justin Timberlake meet her during a recent recording session in London, perfoming backing vocals as she sang his hit What Goes Around. ‘She sings it better than I do,’ said Timberlake afterwards.

Esmée is also support act for his concert in Amsterdam on June 16 and will travel with him to Belgium and Scandinavia.

“Words can’t express how happy I am,” she said. “I’ve always dreamed of something like this.”

Justin Timberlake may be surprised to learn shock rock artist Marilyn Manson has covered one of his singles on a recent visit to the UK.

Manson stunned those present in the small BBC Radio 1 studio on Wednesday when the Rock Is Dead star broke into a live acoustic version of What Goes Around, Comes around. A recording of the track can be found on the BBC Radio 1 website.

Manson told BBC Radio 1: “I met Justin Timberlake and I liked him. I met his mother too. He brings her on tour with him, I guess as some sort of prop.

“When we met I had just watched this sex documentary, unfortunately for his mother, and the first thing I said to her was ‘Did you know that a woman has three holes between their legs?’ She was fascinated.”

Justin Timberlake attracted a flock of British celebrities to the Manchester leg of his FutureSex/Love European Tour.

Celebs such as Man United striker Wayne Rooney and his fiancee Coleen McLoughlin, Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson and Corrie’s Tina O’Brien were among those who snapped up tickets to see Justin perform at the MEN Arena, reports the Daily Star.

Other famous faces who turned out to see the 26-year-old included footballer Rio Ferdinand and X Factor’s Shayne Ward.

An onlooker said: “It was like a who’s who of the most famous faces in the north.

“Fans couldn’t help watching the crowd to spot the celebs instead of watching Justin!”

Of course the celeb Justin was probably most hoping to see in the audience is his new love interest, US actress Jessica Biel.

The pair have been spotted on a string of dates in recent weeks, including a dinner at Nando’s and a trip to a football match. And earlier this year the couple apparently enjoyed a romantic snowboarding trip to Utah.

Justin Timberlake M.E.N. Arena Review

May 16th, 2007

timberlake-15-05-07.jpg

There’s no fear of any expense being spared at a Justin Timberlake gig.

The global megastar is pretty sure he knows how to wow an audience – and that’s with a feast for the eyes quite unlike any ever seen at the M.E.N. Arena before it.

For one thing, the stage was completely in the round, a huge medallion-like split-level cross clasping the centre of the Arena, with fans packed to the rafters all the way around.

It meant more fans than usual could get up close and personal with JT as he lunged to the four corners and beyond during the first half’s blisteringly high energy set.

“This is my 50th show of this tour,” Justin yelps. “So I’m a little tired”.

Not that you’d know it as he gyrates with consummate ease to his hits on this, his FutureSex/LoveShow tour.

In Justin we have a perfomer so totally in control of his stage that he’s almost like a robot of pop. He’s the natural successor to Michael Jackson – nabbing a few of his moves along the way.

Every jerk and jiggle is so effortless, and his army of dancers mirror him at every turn in what is a truly awesome production.

He gets stuck into business from the off – firing off his debut solo hit Like I Love You second on the set. He does his best to treat all four corners of the arena to his loveliness, but as is always the downside with this sort of staging, you can at times get to feel a little left out.

Beamed

Vast voiles descended on to the stage for large parts of the show with videos of JT beamed onto them, but I couldn’t help but feel at times there was so much going on on stage, you struggled to see where the man of the moment was himself.

You certainly get your money’s worth with Justin though.

An hour-long-set is followed by a brief DJ interlude by JT’s producer cohort Timbaland, before he bounced back on stage for another 90-minute set. Things are a little more laid back for the second half, with Justin showing off his musical skills with an intimate acoustic set on piano and guitar of his former N*Sync hits.

Things get back into full speed with Cry Me A River, and then a synthesiser solo by JT leads into a pumping SexyBack for the conclusion.

He returns for one encore with an emotional thanks to all his fans.

“I want you to know I wake up every morning and think, this is just so much fun. I want each and every one of you to know how grateful I am. don’t want to get too cheesy, but I am so cheesy.”

What a refreshing confession from such a massive star.

Justin Timberlake re-united with Cameron Diaz

May 8th, 2007

Justin Timberlake faced an awkard reunion with ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz yesteday for the world premiere of Shrek the Third yesterday in Westwood, California.

Diaz, who voices Princess Fiona in the film, walked the green carpet in a bright-salmon Chanel dress ahead of Timberlake who voices Artie.

According to the Daily Mail, the two avoided eye contact initially but came face to face at the cast photo and greeted each other with a hug and a peck on the cheek. Their encounter was cordial but uncomfortable.

This is the second reported encounter of the pair, who broke up in January after nearly four years together. They were earlier sighted at the Whisky Bar in the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood last month. Later, during the same weekend, they were spotted surfing together at a Malibu beach sparking speculations of a rekindled romance.
